Reflection on New Information Age                 Nothing surprising there, except for the idea that this is “a period in human history” — which tends to suggest it will come to an end at some point. The industrial revolution in the late nineteenth century ushered in the industrial age, and the digital revolution in the mid twentieth century spurred the emergence of the information age. So it is not entirely crazy to speculate about what might lie beyond the information age.          Of course, I am not arguing that information will become obsolete. Firms will always need to harness information in effective ways, just as most of them still need industrial techniques to make their products cheaply and efficiently. My point, instead, is that information will become necessary but not sufficient for firms to be successful. Reflection on Technology Literacy          Technology use is integral to functioning in everyday life. Very few of today’s educational and professional paths do not require using technology to communicate, problem-solve or complete research. Students who attain technology literacy have an easier time achieving education goals and entering into their career of choice.           Defining technology literacy The Colorado Department of Education defines technology literacy as the ability to appropriately select and responsibly use technology. Students who have attained technological literacy are able to: Problem-solve Communicate Locate, use and synthesize information found using technology Develop skills necessary to function in the 21st century Skills required for technology literacy According to the International Society for Technology in Education, technology literacy requires students to demonstrate skills in several areas, including: Creativity and innovation :

  Refection on Types of Media                            According to the report of group of Ian, their topic is about Types of Media they've said that there are three types of media examples of this media was newspaper,magazine and printing press. This type of media was popular or used for Entertainment or gathering informations and news everyday.                               If Im not mistaken this is popular in times of 1600's before because that time it is not more advance on technology unlike today. Second is is Broadcast Media, examples of this was Television and Radio. It is also  for Entertainment and for News . Third is New Media , this type of Media was so advanced and easy to access , and nowadays it is so important in terms of communication and entertainment also.

For tweens, those between the ages of 8 and 12, the average is nearly six hours per day. The Common Sense census was designed to set a new statistical baseline for research on teen and pre-teen media use, said Jim Steyer, the group's executive director. Even as someone who spends all day looking at these issues, Common Sense Media executive director Jim Steyer said he was staggered by the amount of time that young people are spending consuming media — and how little the government has done to explore what that means.
